Check valve is a valve that allows fluid to flow in a fixed direction and automatically prevents it from flowing in the opposite direction (backflow), also known as check valve. It is a self-closing valve with a disc or rocker in the body. When the medium downstream fluid will automatically top open the valve; when the fluid flow back, the fluid (or spring force) will automatically close the valve.

Lifting check valve flap is perpendicular to the valve body channel lifting movement, generally used for horizontal or vertical pipeline; Swing check valve flap is often called a rocker plate, rocker plate side and shaft connection, the rocker plate can rotate around the shaft, swing check valve is generally installed on the horizontal pipeline, for small diameter can also be installed on the vertical pipeline, but pay attention to the flow should not be too large.

Check valve is generally suitable for clean medium in the pipeline, containing solid particles and viscosity of the larger medium pipeline should not be used. Lift type check valve closed performance is better than the swing type, but the swing type check valve fluid resistance is smaller than the lift type. In general, the swing check valve is suitable for large diameter pipelines.
